Television is not essential for a home

          In the modern world, the television has captured the hearts of billions of people all over the world. this has become so popular among the viewers. The television is capable to bring news, views and sports live on the spot. People may be able to watch entertainments. My opinion is that the television is not an essential item for domestic use. Even without a television we can make home a peaceful and pleasant place. About forty or fifty years ago and then from, there was no television but the people enjoyed their lives better without problems.

          Families, which have school going children are badly affected owing to the televisions. By watching television, the children gain more bad than the good. The housewives when they get involved watching television neglect their home front duties. Watching the television from early hours in the morning, will affect health wise and the following day you are unfit to face the days normal proceedings.

          When we take our country as an example, the film and the stage industry has suffered a big down fall, mainly due to the television. Not only the film and the stage, it has affected the writers and publishers very badly. People, who were very much eager to read books, are now crazy watching television programmers. The other drawback is that the reputed writers are gradually moving away from the scene because their values and morals have been discredited.

          The television is capable of promoting products which are harmful for human being, After watching advertisement people spend their valuable money buying those products and pay the penalty of becoming victims of various health diseases. Finally when we compare the television, it is mainly based on commercials to give monetary gains.
